Eduardo Nogueroles combines interpretation with teaching, composition and conducting. He is Professor of Tuba and Euphonium at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Valencia, member of the Spanish Tuba Quartet, member of the Team Board of the Spanish Association of Tubas and Euphoniums AETYB, International Representative of the International Tuba and Euphonium Association ITEA, Conductor of the Symphonic Band of the Societat Musical d'Alboraia and Eastman Performing Artist.
He studied tuba, conducting, composition and contemporary music in the conservatories of Jávea, Valencia, Madrid (End of career Honor Award), Perpignan (Gold Medal of the Conservatory), Arizona State University and the Royal Schools of Music (Licentiate with Distinction), with professors such as Miguel Moreno, Mel Culbertson, Sam Pilafian, Harvey Phillips, Tomás Gilabert, Andrés Zarzo or Ferrer Ferrán.
He was laureated at the International Tuba Competition in Albany (New York) and at the Xátiva Brass Competition (Valencia). Was part of the Students' Orchestra of the Community of Madrid and the Young National Orchestra of Spain JONDE, and has collaborated with numerous orchestras such as those of Castilla y León, Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra, Orquesta Sinfónica de la Radio Televisión Española, Orquesta Sinfónica de Granada, Orquesta de les Arts, Orquesta Nacional de Cataluña, Orquesta Sinfónica de Bilbao, Sinfónica de Galicia, Sinfónica de Córdoba, Filarmonía de Santiago, Orquesta Sinfónica de Euskadi, Orquesta Ciudad de Málaga, Grup Instrumental de Valencia, Orquesta Sinfónica de Valencia, Orquesta del Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, etc.
He taught tuba and euphonium at the Professional Conservatory of Meliana, at the Professional School of Music of Viana do Castelo, at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Vigo, at the Professional Conservatory of Castellón and at the Superior School of Music and Performing Arts of Oporto ESMAE. Since 1996 he has been giving master classes all over the world and regularly performs as a soloist with piano, orchestra or band, participating in numerous premieres and recorded several pieces as a soloist, including Ferrer Ferrán's El Gigante de Hierro. In 2000 he recorded his first album Escenas latinas, followed by Una mirada atrás en (2014) and Rock & Tuba (2021).
He has been Director of the Music Bands of San Miguel de Oia, Vilafamés, Aldaia and Villar del Arzobispo, with which he has won several prizes in competitions and made various recordings such as Sensacions or Begin the beguine. He was Director of the International Tuba Festival of Vigo from 1997 to 2003 and President of the Spanish Association of Tubas and Euphoniums AETYB between 2012 and 2020. He has been a member of the jury in numerous competitions, both performance and composition, among which stand out those of Juventudes Musicales de España, Falcone Composition Contest, Brazilian Euphonium and Tuba Association ETB, Spanish Association of Tubas and Euphoniums AETYB, International Tuba and Euphonium Association ITEA, etc.
As a composer, his music is performed all over the world, having been recorded on several CDs, received various awards and commissioned by prestigious international ensembles and soloists. His pieces, published by the Diputación de Valencia, Rivera Editores, Opera Prima, Branfor, Pinacle Brass and Potenza Music (USA), include works for soloists, chamber music, choir, band, orchestra and musical theater. He is also a co-author of method dedicated to teaching brass instruments Brass School (ed. Bromera and Algar) and author of the 18 Basic Routines for Brass Instruments (Amazon).
